In June 2022, I hiked at midnight to the base of Lapporten in Abisko, Swedish Lappland, at 1,000 meters above sea level. I ascended 600 meters from the village, driven by curiosity. Though I was ill-prepared for the Kungsleden trail, I found plenty of local spots to explore. The calm, windy night was manageable thanks to my warm winter jacket After 7 hours and 30 minutes, I completed the 21-kilometer hike. This stunning area is truly one of the world's most beautiful places.
