The only advantages this hotel has are its location (2 minutes walk to the train station and bus station) and its beautiful lobby. The hotel had an occupancy rate of at most 30% (this was obvious as there were very few check ins or check outs during the two hours I spent waiting in the lobby nor were there any at 12:00 when I deposited my suitcases) but they don't allow to check in before 16:00 unless you pay an extra fee. The room has design flaws, ie the lighting is very bad as is the choice of lamps (yellow instead of white). There is no kettle and no free hot water to make tea or coffee. Instead they have coffee machines that I would not use had they even been free. The heating can not be regulated and is very weak (the bathroom does not have a heating rack which is strange for Scandinavia).
The best coffee I had in Nörrkoping. The service is fantastic and the toilets are clean. I asked the friendly barista for the least Swedish tasting pastry because the local variety is typically too sweet and sugary. She recommended the lemon meringue tart and she was right ; it was not too sweet and it was absolutely delicious 😍 Prices are very reasonable especially considering the high quality and cozy premises.
The store is large and bright and the staff is friendly. Alas, the quality of the clothes does not justify the very high price tags. I bought leggings and a thermal top this year and both are very comfortable and warming so I do not regret buying them. I am willing and even happy to pay more for high quality clothing, ie. I bought expensive but very good quality sweaters in Norway 🇳🇴 from a different company around ten years ago but I just can't fathom why people would pay the equivalent of 200 - 300 Euros for sweaters at Naturkompaniet that are far from spectacular or 500 to 620 Euros for jackets that look very ordinary and consist of cheap materials that cost at most 15 Euros to produce.
