Great marina with guest harbor (with showers and toilets). Very easy to access from the ocean but also from the shore. Convenient location in the middle of Kungshamn with easy access to several great restaurants. Well maintained by the new owners - this used to look like a wreck. Good access to electricity and water while in the dock.

This is one of the oldest and best Asian restaurants in Gothenburg. A few years back it was renovated and now has a beautiful and cozy interior. The owners are wonderful people and you are always greeted with a smile when you enter the restaurant. It has one seating area on the street level and one half a flight of stairs above. The menu is extensive - you will find many classics on the menu. The food is beautifully presented and the quality is excellent. We have been coming many times, literally over decades, and never been disappointed.

This is a great restaurant in the center of Uddevalla, close to other bars and restaurants. The staff is friendly and professional, and the menu is pretty extensive. That said, the wine selection isn’t great. The cocktails are decent. We tried the cod and it was magnificent. We will definitely come back.

This is a nice restaurant and country store with both loval delicacies and clothes for sale. We stopped by for lunch and were not disappointed. The fish was great and the service was fast. We will come back.

This is a traditional Irish pub with a good craft beer selection and a basic, but sufficient, food selection. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good, albeit nothing fancy (which we weren’t looking for anyway). The bar also features bar games like a quiz, even on a Monday night. A very nice experience and we will come back.

We stayed at Elite Park Avenue hotel and visited the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. We also ordered room service from the restaurant. The room service food was awful (luxury shrimp sandwich, meatballs) and not at all worth the price. The meatballs were odd tasting and the sauce simply bad. The shrimp sandwich didn’t appear to be fresh. Dinner was better, and quality and taste were good. The breakfast is quite nice with everything you would normally expect at a hotel like this. All in all we don’t recommend staying at the hotel, and the restaurant experience doesn’t change our opinion. Ambience: 3/5 Staff: 4/5 Food: 2/5 Price/quality: 1/5 (high price, poor quality)

Nice bar for a beer and a whisky, or other drinks. There also is a bar menu available. The location is good, at the top of the main street in Gothenburg, and below the Elite Park Avenue hotel. The interior is fine, albeit nothing special. The bartenders were 50/50. One, with a beard and glasses, was uninterested and seemed to only want to sell the beer on tap (which isn’t great). When we asked about IPAs he only informed is about the draft IPA and not about the large selection of can IPAs in the fridges. He also had a rather poor understanding of whisky. All in all he seemed to fit poorly with his profession. The other bartender, also with a beard, no glasses, was much better. The prices are decent and the selection of beer, gin, and whisky is good. This is a nice place for a few beers, a whisky and a snack. Just order from the right bartender. Ambience: 3/5 Drinks: 4/5 Staff: 1/5 and 4/5 Price/quality: 3/5 (high price average quality.

This is a very large Jollyroom showroom and store. It has a big parking lot. It features all the well-known brands you would expect in Jollyroom, and the store has many different versions of each category on display. It also has an outlet section with returned goods and sometimes slightly damaged goods - you can find real bargains here. The staff is very good and helpful. They go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. The prices are the same as in other stores, but you sometimes can find good brands on sale or at a discount if you buy several items. This isn‘t always the case in other stores. This Ica Maxi is located in Torp Köpcentrum, with lots of convenient parking possibilities and other shops around. This Ica Maxi has an excellent selection of everything. It is unusually well stocked and has many different options for pretty much anything you’re looking for. If you don’t find something it can be a challenge to find staff, as in any grocery store nowadays. This is a great store if you have a long shopping list as you can find everything here.

The restaurant is located on the island of Smögen, but a little bit away from the hustle and bustle at Smögenbryggan. The view is very nice as the restaurant is located right on the water in a small harbor where also the sea rescue station is located. In fact, you can take your boat to Sea Lodge. Sea Lodge has many tables outside and also features large wooden tubs for bigger groups or corporate events. The restaurant is quaint and pretty on the inside, and the view to Hållö is beautiful. The staff is friendly but not particularly knowledgeable, for instance when it comes to wine. We visited towards the end of the season and the wine list was very short. We tried lobster soup, löjromstoast, kummel, and a vegetarian artichoke dish, and rhubarb pie as dessert. None of the dishes met our expectations (except maybe the löjromstoast, but anyone can make that). The lobster soup tasted average, nothing special and not worth the price. The fish, served with potatoe wedges, was swimming in a watery soup which made the potatoes and the croquette wet and unappetizing. The flavor was bland and fish wasn’t hot. The artichoke was okay but the composition was weird and so were the flavors. The rhubarb pie was disappointing. No flavor and the fruit was very sour. We enjoyed the view, but that is not enough to make up for the poor dining experience. We will not come back, at least not as long as the same kitchen staff is employed. Yet another beautiful part of Bohus Malmön.

Took the boat from Kungshamn to have breakfast and we were positively surprised by the fantastic breakfast buffet, at a very decent price. You will find everything from cereal to bread to eggs to typical sill/herring and lots of sausages and salami. The coffee was great too. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly or service-minded, and we were reminded fairly sternly that the breakfast lady was going to start putting the dishes away. We took it in good spirits though. We even brought our dishes in from the outside but weren’t even thanked. But unfortunately this has become pretty common in Sweden - professionalism and courtesy aren’t valued by Swedes it seems. At least Brygghuset don’t seem to think it is important. The whisky collection is fantastic, by the way. We will come back to try some another time.

Bästa recyclingstället i Bohuslän. De anställda är tillmötesgående och proffsiga, riktigt trevliga som göt besöket enkelt.

Excellent sports store that as everything from clothes to gear, shoes and fishing gear. The prices are good, but not on everything. You need to know your brands (and they carry most big brands like Adidas, Nike, Under Armor, etc. Not everything is well priced. But the selection is huge and you will find everything you are looking for, all seasons!

Fantastic old-fashioned hardware store with a wide selection in diverse categories. Only option in town, so don’t expect any bargains. But remember, 70% of revenue is made in three months, so they are forgiven. Don’t miss their pro store on Guleskär. Huge selection of everything from tools, power tools, and hardware to Weber grills.
