I visited for the first time this week, and Freja made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. She listened attentively, asked thoughtful questions, gave me nice recommendations about what I wanted to match my hair to my inspiration photo, and helped me choose the right products for my hair. I left absolutely delighted with my new bangs. For anyone who enjoys a chat during their appointment, Freja is wonderful company, friendly, fun to talk to, and full of positive energy. I was so happy with the experience that I booked my next appointment before leaving. Bonus: You get a nice back massage on the washing chair, but Freja scalp massage is even better! 🥰 There’s convenient parking right outside, and the salon itself is incredibly cosy. It’s also located by beautiful waterfront views, making it a lovely place to take a stroll before or after your appointment. I highly recommend Freja and look forward to coming back! The intro to consult on my hair was very quick and I didn't feel heard.I asked specifically not to have my bangs cut short above my eyebrows. My bangs ended up being all zig zag and different lenght and my haircut overall ended up being so uneven. I brought it up but she tried to excuse it. I’ve had lots of references pictures and I already had bangs since a year so I had a good base and I know how they're supposed to look like. I left with uneven short bangs, uneven hair cut. She offered a blowout, I ended with curly and straight hair... Didn’t feel like a serious place to cut my hair unfortunately. This was a very sad experience. I came back later that day, somebody else took me in to try to fix it, they helped to style it better but my hair and bangs were beyond saving unless I wanted it even shorter. I hope in the future they can work on how to cut simple bangs. It’s just hair but disappointing ** I had an event this week, this is by far my most dissatisfied hair salon experience.
