In November 2024, I drove my motorcycle into the garage as usual. For some reason, I looked up at the ceiling and saw a paint bubble. If you have a scab somewhere on your body, you should never tear it open. Blood comes like a letter in the mail. The same goes for paint bubbles on a garage roof! But that day I didn't have this insight. I scraped... and water gushed out of the bubble!! It turned out that upon further scraping that the entire garage roof was so rotten that even all kinds of unknown fungi had found their perfect environment. Things didn't get any better considering that we have a 60 square meter terrace built on this roof. A slight (this year's understatement) panic crept in. How to solve this? Since I had hired Christian Nord Nordh as a carpenter earlier in the year (when we were forced to replace part of the facade when repainting the facade), I called him out of sheer desperation. Just like Caesar (Vidi, vini, vinci)… so came Christian (despite the fact that the incident occurred one evening after 6 pm)….He saw him…and He conquered! He certainly didn’t do it alone. His partner Tommy (forgot his last name) was with him. The whole job (new roof and brand new balcony) took almost a month. But…it turned out so damn well. Christian and Tommy are both master carpenters and are also a radar couple who work perfectly together. Extremely competent, meticulous with many creative solutions in their records. Qualities that you as a client really appreciate. The fact that both of them are also extremely nice and social doesn’t make the grade any worse. Good luck with your new company!
