Actually, I have previously liked this store a lot and have shopped there several times, always with good results – until last week. Then I was greeted by a nice woman who was initially very smiling and helpful. I looked at a rug and some small gift items. In the meantime, more customers came into the store, and since she was working alone, she needed to help the other customers as well, which I fully understood and waited patiently. However, when she came back, she started walking on the rug with her shoes on. The rug got dirty and looked worn afterwards, which was possibly due to her shoes. When I respectfully pointed out that you should not walk on a rug that is being sold, she replied something like: “If you are going to buy it, you can take it as it is, otherwise you can leave”, in a rude way. I found this very inappropriate – it is not acceptable to walk on a sales product with shoes on and treat a customer in such a way. Incidentally, I would like to emphasize that the products in the store are of good quality and that the owners are usually very nice and helpful.
