Amazing exhibition of the artefacts! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The Alfons section was so nostalgic — loved the info about the character Pappa Åberg. There’s a nice cafeteria on the first floor. Wheelchair accessible and washrooms available.

Liten men mysig sushibar.

Atmosphere: Cozy and chill. The café is located at a corner of a crossroads. You can sit and work either inside or outside. Although sitting outside at a road junction might seem noisy, it's actually a very calm neighborhood, so you can still focus. There's a corner with a DJ mixer, adding a unique vibe. The people at the café are also friendly, making it easy to strike up a nice conversation. Service: The barista is friendly and skilled. I ordered a cortado, and it was exceptional—strong coffee flavor but still very smooth. I noticed many customers ordering orange juice, and the breakfast menu looked very appealing. Price: Slightly cheaper than other places.
Menu: The menu is short but offers a variety of options, including vegetarian dishes. We ordered a pizza and two starters, all of which were very delicious. The menu was clearly well thought out—the pizza had a unique touch with almonds that made it special, and the halloumi dressing was exceptionally tasty. Atmosphere: The restaurant and café are located in the old part of Nyköping in a charming, historic house turned into a dining venue. There are seating options both in the garden and inside. The outdoor seating is more rustic, while the indoor area has the cozy feel of an old Swedish home, with traditional furniture and warm lighting. There are even seats on the second floor, with plenty of nooks and corners that provide a more private dining experience. Service: There were quite a few people around the reception, which made it a bit difficult to get their attention at times. However, the service overall was very good. Location: Just a few minutes' walk from the central station. Prices: Moderate.
The store is located in the center of Nyköping, making it easily accessible. They offer a nice selection of fine fabrics and chic styles for both men and women, with a recently added section for more casual wear. Service: The sales assistants are generally happy to help, though I did encounter a middle-aged lady who was quite direct about the availability of sizes. She mentioned that the store has limited options for certain body types and pointed this out during my visit.
Location: The hostel is situated in a quieter part of the city, accessible by tram lines 10, 6, and 5. While it's not ideal for sightseeing in Gothenburg, it's suitable for study or business trips. There's a Willy's supermarket nearby, along with plenty of pizzerias and restaurants. A swimming pool is also within a 10-minute walk. Rooms: I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm. The room had lockers with keys, so no need for padlocks. You do need to make your own bed. The room was very clean and quiet. There are a few toilets and four showers, all of which were very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, including two ovens. The setup of the kitchen makes it a nice place to hang out, but most guests are on business trips, so you’re unlikely to meet backpackers. On thing to mention there are no curtains at the bunkers, which you can find in other hostels. Staff: The hostel is run by a kind Finnish man who is very helpful and has great tips on nearby shops and restaurants. He’s at the reception between 10:00 and 17:00. Outside of those hours, you can pick up your key from a key locker.
Food: I ordered the chicken Pad Thai with rice noodles, and it was really good. All the food is cooked and served fresh, so if it takes a bit of time, it’s understandable. Service: The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The service is simple, but they are extremely polite and warm. Atmosphere: It’s a small yet comfortable place to dine in. While it’s not fine dining, the environment is cozy and inviting. Price: The prices are affordable, and you get great value for what you pay.
Small yet cozy sushi-bar. Beautiful decoration with Japanese animation’s characters. Sushi: fresh and delicious. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. There are vegetarian options as well.
Staff are very helpful and friendly. They can provide you with reliable and experienced information on which lens and frame would suit you best. My own experience, which was very touching for me, was when my sunglasses had a lost screw and my reading glasses no longer fit. They fixed both items at no charge. As the sales lady told me, 'A person is helping another person
