AVOID!! In my opinion, both Iveco Kihlströms and Iveco Gothenburg are a bunch of scammers. Bought an Iveco Daily in Gothenburg. The seller Viktor (in Gothenburg) guaranteed that the car was in good condition and had just been serviced. This was of course just a sales tactic as no service had been done! I wrapped the car and installed extra lights etc. The car has had endless problems for 2.5 years. Everything from cheap materials used that are not Iveco original parts, the side door could not be locked and because of this the car could start howling while driving that a door was open. All sorts of lights started to light up on the dashboard after I had the car for a few days. The wrapping was done differently than agreed, without informing me. The explanation was that "this is better" even though I paid extra to get it done differently. The car has since gone down to Gothenburg twice to have the problems fixed. Guess if anything was fixed? It is worth mentioning that the seller left Iveco just two weeks after he sold the car and then they blamed the problems on him and he "couldn't be reached". Iveco Gothenburg thought I should let Kihlströms fix the remaining problems. They are at least as bad as Iveco Gothenburg. The problems with the car remain and new ones are added. Most recently, a troubleshooting cost 3500 SEK excluding VAT. When they didn't "find" the problem, Tim instead wanted to sell on a service of over 35000 SEK, and after many ifs and buts they could "offer" half the troubleshooting, if I chose to book the major service. The troubleshooting was done from the very beginning because the car's battery is consumed in just one day when it is stationary. Their recommendation was that the battery needs maintenance charging, even though the battery is brand new. I consulted a mechanic at Mekonomen who laughed at this suggestion. After emailing Victor (at Kihlströms) for a week, I was told that I have until the end of the day to decide whether I want to pay the invoice of 3500 SEK, or accept the major service. I chose to pay the invoice and NOT let them do the service. In the end, they wanted to scare me that my insurance will not apply if I don't do the service NOW. When I now write to them a couple of months later that it is strange that the troubleshooting did not show any errors as the car barely starts anymore, Victor asks me to book a new troubleshooting. Go to Mekonomen or someone else who cares about your car and stay away from these cunning salesmen. Stay away from these people, they DO NOT know what they are doing. Update: Expected response from Kihlströms. Save your money stay away from these salesmen. I would not have had the service done at Kihlströms if it were free.
