I haven't visited Gamlegården's library in maybe 10-15 years, but I've been thinking about this place a lot lately. I listened to a program on UR where the participants talked about how reading is inherited. That it's sociologically proven that reading is inherited and that you do better in school if you grow up with bookshelves at home. I didn't have that, but I did well anyway. Thanks to Gamlegården's library and the fantastic librarian who worked there at the time. It was so much fun to go there and borrow books every other day. Gamlegården's library sparked my love of reading! 😊
