What a great place! Beautifully located at the lake, nicely put together, very clean facilities, good places for tent, good price value. But, most of all, the friendly staff with their warm welcome and helping me out with a specific challenge. The restaurant is very good and also serves a variety of (mostly Belgian) beers. Beware that the restaurant is not open all days; check the website of give then a call.
I was going to stay here, while walking the Olavsleden. But while arranging the stay, I was informed that there were no showers and no toilets available. I might have stayed if I got a relevant discount, but no, only 10% pilgrimsdiscount. Then it would be 250kr for a bit of grass and a “nature toilet” (1 for the whole camping). So I walked on and camped at the river side. Also no shower, but at least free! (Yes I’m Dutch haha)
