Recently opened its doors in Sälen, this B&B is owned by very nice people with a lot of previous experience in the hotel and tourism industry. Opened all year, we stayed here during summer but are planning on coming back this winter to ski! The building is an old church communion building renovated with respect to its previous function. On the first floor connected the rooms you have the hallway which used to be a prayer hall, where an old working piano is still standing, it breathes history! The rooms are spacious, well lit, very comfortable and decorated in a very homely and local fashion. As well as a marvelous and plentiful breakfast they also offer dinner with local ingredients (I just loved their cloudberry ice cream desert, to die for!! 😀) we payed around € 75! / night which is a very fair price considering what you’re getting in return. A must when visiting the Dalarna region of Sweden. (Ps sorry for the unmade beds, I forgot to take pics before going to sleep 😴 😀)
