I handed in my Kia Ceed to Hedin Bil in Akalla in mid-July for a fault finding of the AC, after which I was given a new appointment for repair in mid-September(!). I am incredibly dissatisfied with the company's handling of the matter and how it affects me as a customer. We discovered that the AC on the car was not working properly in early June and booked an appointment for fault finding at Hedin Bil in Akalla over a month in advance. Not ideal during the summer with the prevailing heat, but nothing could be found before then. We assumed that once we hand in the car for a full day at an authorized Kia workshop, it would be possible to fix any problems discovered at the same time. We planned our entire week based on this, as we otherwise use the car frequently during the holidays, and I paid for a taxi home and back to the facility. That I was then told that the fault, a leak from the evaporator, could only be repaired in mid-September is beyond criticism. As I said, I have already waited a month just to get the time to troubleshoot. The employee at the facility mentioned that there are a number of customers who are in exactly the same situation, which I interpret as a problem with how the company works and staffs its workshop rather than us being unlucky. I understand that people are on vacation etc., but having to wait two(!) more months is just not acceptable. Customer experience is apparently not something Hedin Bil places much importance on after the car is paid for and ready. We bought this car (used, model from 2021) in March of this year and after this experience it feels like a bad decision compared to other alternatives we had. The new car warranty in this situation feels more like a problem than a benefit in that it "locks" us into Kia workshops where there are no free times. I advise all Kia owners to avoid this workshop. Update: We managed to find an earlier appointment at another Kia workshop where the policy is to try to fix any problems immediately after troubleshooting, a much more customer-oriented approach. In addition, they identified a different fault when troubleshooting the AC than what I was informed about from Hedin Bil. The fault was fixed the same day and we now have a well-functioning AC. The handling of Hedin Bil in Akalla therefore feels all the more questionable. We could probably have had a working AC several weeks ago. Instead, we have had to "torment" during many hot summer days.
