Really bad! Take another airline if possible. Highly recommended. Ground staff very unfriendly and not helpful. Booked a flight without luggage. Only my light bag for the cabin as usual on a short business trip. Made the online check-in on day before. Also as usual. But this time: "Collect your boarding pass at the check-in desk." Why??? So even travelling without any check-in luggage and even after I checked in already online, I was forced to go earlier to the airport and wait in the check-in line for 35 minutes. Enough time to observe how unfriendly and unprofessionall the two ladies are. When I arrived I thought "Ok, just a few people. This will be quick.". But I didn't knew at this time the "I don't care. Not my job."-mentality of the staff. On a average check-in desk those few people in front of me should be done in approximately 15 minutes. Here it took 35 minutes... When I was finally the next one I kindly asked why I had to show up at the check-in desk to collect my boarding pass. First answer: To collect your boarding pass. I tried it again and explained that I already checked in and that I don't have any check-in luggage. That I choosed and booked this option so that I can travel light, don't have to show up early for check-in and can catch an hour more to sleep. If you travel and work a lot those 60 minutes of sleeping are gold. This time she explained me that this is the usual procedure for the light travelling passengers because the cabin bag has to be checked. And the best part of it: She said that "All airlines are doing it this way." 😂😂 I really had to laugh hard. Lack of knowledge or a stupid lie? For this year this is my flight Nr.62. ;) So I know a little bit about the different procedures of different airlines. For example Eurowings is proving that cabin bags directly at the gate if necessary. So passengers don't have to wait twice in lines. This is good for me as a passenger but also makes it faster for other passengers who have to check-in at the desk. It got even "better": Once again the Lady showed her unprofessional "Whatever. I don't care." attitude. And at least: She didn't checked/ measured my bag. 😂 Just got my passport, printed my boarding pass and done. Wasted 40 minutes of lifetime for nothing. Checked this airline I'm traveling the first time with. Part of Lufthansa and one more proof that Lufthansa is getting more and more worse. The should choose their employees better! And train them better. Thanks for nothing!
