The island is beautiful, that's for sure. If you look for a retreat or want to relax (with or without kids), this tiny island is the perfect place. Sunsets, beautiful vegetation, blueberries, canoeing, it's all here. The downside - and the reason for only three out if five stars - is the organization of the place. We rented two apartments, both standalone houses, which were in general okay. The details were, however, it so great. No welcome upon arrival, no explanation where to find what, kitchen equipment was missing (glasses!), broken lightbulbs, broken curtains, broken chairs, generally sloppy electric installations. And it was not dirty, but you would not want to use the extra duvet in the cupboard and you wanted to clean the dishes before first use. If you are used to running a household, you can manage. Be creative and you have a great time. But it seems that management is not in it with the heart, they just let the place run, and run it down.
