Jag köpte en Fjällräven-ryggsäck från Naturkompaniet under min vintersemester i Uppsala. Ryggsäcken gav mig inga problem förrän jag reste till Sydostasien, där den började tappa färg och fläcka kläder och accessoarer. …
I bought a Fjällräven backpack from Naturkompaniet during my winter vacation in Uppsala. The backpack didn't give me any issues until I traveled to Southeast Asia, where it started losing color, staining clothes and accessories. I contacted Naturkompaniet and they advised me to clean it with a damp cloth. I carefully cleaned the backpack for about an hour until the color residue disappeared. The next day, I went out with the backpack again, and in the evening, the items inside the backpack were stained again. Naturkompaniet told me to contact Fjällräven's customer service directly. Fjällräven said I should return the backpack to Naturkompaniet for evaluation, and that the problem could be the temperature the backpack was exposed to. Obviously, I can't immediately return to Naturkompaniet, since I was on vacation in Uppsala, and Naturkompaniet evaluated online that the backpack was not faulty and that I simply need to keep it away from high temperatures (32 degrees). I understand that this backpack is made in Sweden, but it seems absurd that it can only be used in Nordic countries, otherwise it starts melting! Moreover, considering the not exactly cheap price, I expected some help and not just the response "keep the backpack cool". It's a shame because it's a functional backpack, but it's definitely the last one I buy. Fjällräven and Naturkompaniet have lost a customer.
