If you’re choosing this place for karaoke, don’t. The sound system is terrible, the microphone quality is poor, and the audio levels are so badly adjusted that even singing in the shower would sound better. Instead of enjoying the song, you end up fighting bad acoustics, weak sound, and a setup that makes singing feel like punishment rather than fun. The place itself is nice and the prices are fair, so it’s fine for drinks and conversation, just not for karaoke.
Jag kom till det här stället med flit för att köpa en beef wellington, och de gjorde mig inte besviken. Riktigt gott kött, vackert tillagat, såsen var lite salt men den matchade bra den övergripande kompositionen. Jag njöt av maten och även …
Extremely grumpy bouncers. I’m a regular at this place. I’ve attended their dinner parties multiple times and was there nearly every Thursday during winter for karaoke. I know the bartender and the karaoke hosts. Last night, they refused me entry because I didn’t have physical ID, which I understand. But when I offered to show a photo of my passport, they were unnecessarily rude and treated me like I was trying to sneak into the country, not walk into a bar I’ve supported for years. The whole tone was hostile and killed any mood for a relaxed Thursday night. I just wanted to sing. As a loyal guest, I expected at least basic courtesy. It’s a shame that the first impression of an otherwise fantastic club is left in the hands of people with zero manners or respect.
