When I opened the door to the apartment (Västerås) and was about to move in with my things, it was like a horror movie. It smelled bad, the floor was sticky, there were stains in the bathroom, nothing had been cleaned, in other words. Not only that, the walls were not in good condition at all, moldings were damp, the toilet seat fell off, electrical outlets were not on or loose, fruit flies in the dishwasher, scratched floors. I had to cancel the entire move. When I reported this the same day, I was told that they hoped I would call so they could come and clean (shouldn't it be the other way around, that they would contact me). But regarding the maintenance of the apartment, they said it would take time because there were three people ahead of me in line. I immediately started looking for something new and contacted the tenants' association, without me mentioning the landlord's name, the person at the tenants' association managed to guess who it was. Rikshem doesn't seem to have the best reputation right away. When I stand my ground and say I will not accept this, they rush the process. But I got disgusted with this rent abuse and do not want to stay in their apartment but have to contact them to get answers to my questions and how they can help resolve this situation.
