Stayed in one of the cabins for a relaxing break. These were built in the 50s and haven't been updated since - which would have been basic but ok, but the cabin smelt of mould and damp making it really quite unpleasant. We aired the cabin out when we arrived, which made it tolerable (or we got used to it). We went to a different island for the next night and noticed our PJs absolutely stunk of mould / damp when we unpacked them - so the smell really was engrained in the cabin. Facilities are equally dated; shower was fine, Long drop toilets don't get enough air so they have an incredibly strong smell, Some of the swimming areas were neglected / overgrown. Staff at the restaurant and cafe were friendly and helpful. I was glad I only had one night there and wouldn't return. There are much nicer places for the cost.
Bodde i en av stugorna för en avkopplande paus. Dessa byggdes på 50-talet och har inte renoverats sedan dess - vilket skulle ha varit enkelt men okej, men stugan luktade mögel och fukt vilket gjorde det riktigt obehagligt. Vi vädrade ut …
Perfekt plats att utforska ifrån. Underbart vänlig och hjälpsam personal som delade med sig av fantastiska tips om närområdet. Enkla men rena och bekväma rum, härlig frukost. Supernära båtbryggan och massor av promenader/bad/cykling finns på ön. Rekommenderas verkligen!
