Workaround was great until Covid-19 happened. Being an individual renter in the high risk group for CV-19, I have been following the Swedish Government recommendation to work from home since 2 weeks after starting my rental. Now that it’s clear that this pandemic is not ending before my rental contract finishes, I asked if I could be let out of my contract early as it’s extremely difficult to support a coworking space out of my salary. The response was “given the current situation, we are not allowing any early contract terminations.” Now I’m stuck paying 4 months of rent for a space I used for 2 weeks. Don’t do business with people who don’t do the right thing.
