We were there during the first week of January. There are direct flights from Germany to Arvidsjaur in winter, and Moskosel is easily accessible from there by rental car. We were able to stock up on supplies at the local "Digital Landhantel" (a small, informal shop). The hosts were very kind and friendly. We felt very comfortable in the beautiful apartment. The apartment is very well-equipped and furnished with charming Nordic details. Despite the freezing temperatures, it was cozy and warm. We even saw the Northern Lights, sometimes from the balcony. We roasted sausages at the fire pit by the lake, and ice fishing was great fun. Every morning, a flock of black grouse settled in the birch trees in front of the house and could be easily observed. The landscape – simply a winter wonderland! We'll be back.
