As a first time apple picker, it was a great experience for me. We picked four varieties of apples and pears. It is about three kilometers walk from the Stångby station. We didn't have a car, so we walked. Although we enjoyed the walk, it was quite difficult to walk back to the station with 11.5 kg of apples. So it is better to keep in mind the matter of walking and the weight of the apple. I hope to go again next year.
