The restaurant was almost empty when we came in, just a couple of tables finishing up. We were seated, got our menus and were subsequently forgotten. We waited for someone to take our order for twenty minutes. Meanwhile, two new parties came in; a large group of 15+ people and another couple. They were seated, and our waitress took the large groups order. We were still waiting for our order to be taken. After the 20 minutes of waiting my boyfriend went up to the bar to ask whether anyone’s is coming or if we should just order at the bar. The waiter manning the bar at that time told him he’s coming right over. He grabbed his notepad and went to take the other couple’s order (they arrived about 10 minutes after us). Then he finally came to our table. We ordered a burger and the black angus steak, and some bread for the table. Then we waited 40 minutes for the food. FORTY. The large group that came in after us already received their food when our order was just finally being taken. By the time we finally got our food they were finished. The waiter that took our order came to tell us a couple of times during the wait that our food is coming right out. It wasn’t. Not even the bread we ordered. When he noticed us unhappily looking around after over half an hour of waiting he went to get the bread from the kitchen. Then came the food, with no apologies for the long wait. Food itself was okay. Nothing special, but edible. We were so hungry at this point we just devoured it, wanting to get the hell out of there. The grilled veggies were a bit soggy, seemed defrosted. Side salad had one olive, one cherry tomato and one slice of carrot. Otherwise it was just salad leaves and corn. I like my steak as medium, but the waiter never asked me this so it came out well done. At this point I didn’t even care I was so hungry. When the waiter came to collect our empty plates he asked how the food was. We told him the food was okay but the one hour wait wasn’t. He said he’ll give us a reduced price for it and left. We waited around for the bill for a while before realizing that you’re supposed to pay for the food at the bar. Went to pay, and the waiter charged us for the whole price. We had to go back and remind him of the price reduction he has promised. He gave us a 100 kronor bill. We were finally free of this place. The decor, menu and website make this place sound and look like an upscale restaurant. The reality was absurd. None of the waiters seemed to know what they’re supposed to be doing. There was absolutely no management or order, no one was running the show. Each employee were just individually doing…. Something. No communication. We’re definitely never coming back.
