I was turned off originally by the price, 500kr for a Men's haircut, which isn't absurd for Stockholm but isn't cheap by any means. But I can say it felt worth it. Alex is a fun guy with a cool history and most importantly vision and creativity in his profession. I never really know how to explain how I want my haircut or what I should do with it, but he listened to what I wanted and then came up with a plan pretty quickly that fit my outlook on the situation. More than that he taught me about how I should be thinking about my hair care and how I should think about styling it, etc. I really look for that professional advice in a hairdresser and I think it is pretty rare. He spent a long time with my hair and I really felt like the artist within him was on display while I was in the chair. The only thing I didn't like were the chairs -- I found it kind of uncomfortable to sit in for so long but that's a small gripe. Otherwise the place feels quite modern and hip. I would definitely recommend Alex, especially if you like a hairdresser that has an opinion and can offer you some helpful advice. It was worth the money for me!
