During the 70s I was here and had a Spanish conversation course for some teachers for a couple of weeks. The course ended abruptly when, by chance, in the principal's own room, I discovered a small pre-Columbian Aztec, Mexican or Mayan statue, previously stolen from the Museo Nacional de Mexico - it was marked - it had been standing next to the entrance to the principal's office where, during the course, we could take a smoke break.
