Feel transported to another world. We entered the spa part of this complex with no preconceived expectations. To me it was a journey to the middle of earth. From the descending ramp to the gradually darker rooms and passages - until the cavernous main hall of hot / cold baths - my mind calmed. Became clearer and rested. I would not be able to tell 5 minutes from 28. It was stillness. Of particular note was the outdoor shallow hot pool. I could stay there all day and revel in the fresh air, the trees and the breeze from the ocean and woods. The salt hot steam sauna wiped my mind clean. Food: The food we had was excellent. Fresh, clean and satisfying. If I had to come back tomorrow - it would not be soon enough. (In all honesty, it will probably be a few years. But this is definitely on our next agenda for Stockholm area.)

This place has the best version of the classic Swedish “pizza salad“ I’ve ever tried. The white cabbage appetizer is fresh, acidic and delicious. The mains here are of traditional Swedish cuisine with a selection of Italian dishes (including pizzas).
Come for the baked goods, stay for the relaxing atmosphere. Both savory and sweet baked goods are made on premises. Made to order sandwiches or grab-n-go pre-made - does not matter: it’s all fresh and filling. On the sweet side: Please try their kanelbulle, Semla (if you visit at the right time of the year) or the birkes.. you know - just try anything they got on display. It’s all delicious. The upstairs seating area is cozy, and welcoming, especially in winter time. You can easily spend a morning here mapping out the rest of your day, while enjoying the baker at work and the smells of freshly baked buns.
