This is a semi local cafe for us some 30 km from home, but we will go out of our way to schedule a stop here. The food is good, reasonably standard, and a moderate choice, but well presented. Last time I had crusty bread and fish soup. Delicious! Nice desserts (cakes) too. But the interior setting and the garden with several streams running through is romantic, "shabby chic" and both dog and child "friendly". This sets it apart from other places. It is literally 5 mins from the motorway junction which ought to be enticing. Best of all they buck the trend in Sweden and are open all year round. Heatiest congratulations for that. Its a fine place with polite lovely staff and even some curiosities for sale upstairs. Do, do visit. I want them to stay in business!
We had wanted somewhere a bit special but not extrovert for a relative's 92nd birthday and we're tempted here by the description and photos We were NOT disappointed. We had a delightful time. The setting was perfect despite a wet autumn day. The food was plenty and the serving elegant yet simple. The two men in charge were charming and helpful. Full marks if one was also the chef! I can recommend this restaurant for a quiet tete-a-tete or small gathering - without the slightest hesitation. Thank you guys for making us welcome and in party mood. It
