We (4 friends) rented a sailing boat there for a little over a week. Lake Vänern is an incredibly beautiful sailing area! I can only recommend it to everyone. The reservation, booking and handover of the boat went smoothly. Krister is at your side with his extensive sailing expertise. He writes back quickly, is super helpful, nice and uncomplicated. The boat was superbly equipped and was great to sail. We sailed into natural harbours and anchored in bays. Krister looked at our route plan with us before we set off and advised us. We travelled to Kristnehamn by train and then took a taxi over to the harbour. That was no problem. The boat was designed for 6 people and the four of us thought it was just right. But we were also four tall guys. It was wonderful. Thank you Krister! We'll be back! :)
