Truly bizarre experience at the decidedly mid breakfast offering. Only cold cuts and fruits and some cereals. No scrambled eggs or bacon. As I was roasting a piece of toast I had inadvertently placed the plastic butter pack on the hot plate. One of those made for keeping food warm, not cooking it mind you. The plastic didn’t melt, and the butter inside wasn’t even fully melted by the time I finished toasting the bread. The plate was warm to the touch but not burning your hands. Anyways. The owner storms over and picks up the butter pack and start shaking it in my face telling me I will destroy the hot plate by placing the butter there. I’m kinda shocked, and verifying that nothing was actually damaged I say “relax, nothing happened” He then flies in to a spitting rage, starts gesticulating and shouting. Cursing me out and saying I have 10 minutes to eat and checkout. At this stage I can’t do anything but laugh because his behaviour is just so bizarre. I say no more, finish my breakfast and get ready for check out. Having collected my self a little, at check out I ask the now somewhat calmer man if he would like to apologise? I certainly feel I’m due one after the performance he put on during breakfast. Which of course prompts him to fly in to another rage and as I’m leaving he is actually physically pushing me out the door. Actually assaulting me😅😅😅. I spend more than a 3rd of the year living out of hotels and over many years this is BY FAR the most bizarre experience I’ve had anywhere. This man made me concerned for my physical well being, a concern well placed it turns out as he had no issue placing his hands on me. I would advise everyone to stay away from this establishment and its unpredictable owner.
