Det här stället var fantastiskt. Mycket för pengarna. Man hämtar nyckeln på en närliggande bensinstation och de ger ett bra informationspaket och kartor med nyckeln till stugan. …

This place was brilliant. Great value for the price. You pick up the key at a nearby gas station and they give a nice packet of information and maps with the key to the hut. We were a bit worried about what it would be like, but the cabins/huts are behind a city sports center at the edge of town. We were initially nervous about driving up on the sidewalk (by the buildings) and going around back behind the pool, but once we figured it out it was fine. You park at the bottom of the wooden steps then go up a small hill. There are 6 huts, only 4 used for sleeping. The other two are storage and a shared mini kitchen (no water or stove/oven, just a mini-fridge, microwave, hot water cooker and coffee maker.) There are NO utincels or cooking supplies, so be sure to bring those! There is a fire pit and several wooden picnic benches. Unfortunately the WiFi does NOT extend to the cabins. We found it worked if you sit in your car below. The bathrooms/showers are the sports locker rooms which you access by a short path and a key. You can take a long hot shower and there are several toilets so no one has to wait! The complex is surrounded by lush forests and there is a fence around it and the gate is locked at night so it is very secure. There is a lovely pond next to the complex with hiking trails through the forest. The hut is basic but provides what you need--adequate double bunk beds (you MUST bring your own bed linens & towels to any place in Sweden) with electricity and a heater. When you price out the same huts at the camp ground they are twice the price! You can walk to the downtown area in 10 minutes. There are a few good restaurants (get your pizza with fries on it!). There are some fun things to do in the area. Go to the tourist desk inside the public library they will give you pamphlets for train rides, museums and other fun things. If you go to the nearby campground (7 minute drive) there is free parking at the entrance and you can rent paddle boards, boats, canoes, kayaks, bikes, go-karts, all at a reasonable price. There are numerous groceries stores. People speak English and are friendly and generally helpful. We would definitely stay again if in the area. It is much better than tent camping (because it frequently rains and gets cold at night--7 degrees Celsius--even in August!) and not so noisy or crowded as a camp ground.
