This is not student housing. They rent a portion of their apartment out to students and the rest to random people. I’ve lived here for the first year of university and there were good things: -Bus stop in front of the house (doesn’t go to uni though) -Gym in the building (affordable price!) -Building administration was always nice and helpful to me However, the actual apartment is fairly terrible. The layout has you sleep right next to the very noisy fridge. The shower does not have enough water pressure and takes forever to heat up the water. The window is huge and gets super cold during the winter. The laundry room can only be used 5 times a month and machines do not always work. The real problem though: THE HEATING. The house effectively controls your heating and decides when it is cold enough for you to turn on your heater. When you are finally able to turn it on, you’ll realize that heating is limited and is not enough to heat up the whole space. The website says that they will only come and fix your heating if your apartment is below 18 degrees. Sorry but 18 degrees might be good for your bedroom, but not for the entire living area. And then the best thing: the apartment has a vent in the walls which CAN NOT BE CLOSED!! There is a constant influx of cold air even in the winter. I am constantly freezing in this place. I am so glad to finally be moving out of this place and I can only advice anyone to be looking elsewhere for student housing if possible.
