My previous review was removed because I mentioned name of one of the nurses that was extremely rude, dismissive and in general should not be working with people. But if you encounter her you will know exactly who I mean 😉Apparently mentioning names in positive reviews is not a breach of “personal data policy” but it’s different for negative ones. Now I know how that clinic has such a high rating. I have been to the clinic for multiple problems but primarily for my eczema. The doctors kept recommending use of topical steroids FOR MONTHS without sending me to a specialist. I had to beg for remiss during last appointment and the doctor I had an appointment with said that “it doesn’t look that bad right now”. Of course, the flare is going to get better if I have to wait for the appointment for 2 weeks. I also showed the pictures of my flare ups and tried to explain that I get them 1 to 3 times a month. The doctor told me that steroids are THE ONLY treatment for eczema and when I mentioned Protopic she had to look up what it was and then claimed that she couldn’t prescribe it to me (which is a lie – a dermatologist told me later on that general doctors in Vardcentralen can prescribe Protopic). I finally got remiss but the doctor said that she HAS TO mention that my eczema looks better right now and there is no guarantee that I will get an appointment. So even after all the information that I gave her including the fact that I have been experiencing eczema for 6 years she was still reluctant to writing me a remiss. The nurse in there also was terrified that I used Protopic previously on my face (prescribed in another country) when it’s actually SPECIFICALLY recommended for use on face and eyelids because it does not thin your skin. I finally got prescription when I went to dermatologist in Malmö and he was very surprised that they didn’t do it earlier in my Vardcentralen. Now because of treatment with steroids I have wrinkly, stretched out skin on my eyelids with damaged skin barrier. I would say that the doctors should be sent to more trainings on using more modern treatments and methods instead of using medication from the 90s. It was very frustrating and infuriating to be treated like I am overexaggerating and being dramatic. It’s also concerning that steroids are considered “the only” treatment when it’s very short-term solution and not long term which would be receiving help with identifying triggers. I hope your clinic will sponsor me a cosmetic procedure if my eyelids don’t go back to normal 😊 Edit: Recently I have also went here for kondyloma. Doctor informed me that I have to make an appointment with gynaecologist. According to official guidelines from 1177.se in case of this condition you should contact your vårdcentralen (gynaecologist is not even mentioned here). The nurse that I talked to also said that she can't discuss it with me and didn't want to set up an appointment for me with another doctor. I was basically denied help at your clinic for a condition that due to OFFICIAL guidelines should be treated at vårdcentralen. On top of that, the waiting time for gynecologist appointments is 5 months now even at private clinics like Vimera where I have been waiting for 4 months already. Honestly the staff and doctors are absolutely useless in this clinic and you get sent back and forth between vårdcentralen and different specialists who don’t want to take you in because “this is something that your vårdcentralen should help you with”. They also don’t respond to emails with complaints.

I have had an appointment for my eczema and hair loss with Dr Max Nordgren in this clinic. This was my only good experience with dermatologist in Malmö. The doctor was very informative, competent, listened to everything I had to say and took a proper look at my skin (you have no idea how many dermatologists look at your skin from 1 meter away or you have to ASK THEM to take z look). He spent a lot of time explaining my condition and possible treatments to me and seemed genuinely interested. Would highly recommend!

I have had an appointment in here for my eczema and damaged skin on my eyelids due to topical steroids use. They recommended the use of Protopic that I got prescribed earlier which was fine but my problem was that the doctor couldn’t see what was wrong with my eyelids (they are wrinkly, lost elasticity and are thin as paper after the topical steroid use). I didn’t really get any recommendation for that and the doctor didn’t even take a proper look until I ASK him too. He concluded that maybe I FEEL like my skin looks worse than before (meaning: it’s all in your head, you are being hysterical and there is nothing wrong). I even showed picture of my eyelid how it looked before for comparison. I also mentioned that my eczema has been getting worse this year and I suspect hormonal imbalance as my periods also were out of norm for past few months. The doctor said that it’s not related to eczema (of course low estrogen and skin conditions are not related at all!) and told me that I would need to go to Vardcentralen to get it checked out. I realise that hormonal changes are not the direct cause of eczema as nobody really knows its root cause but it can be a trigger and eczema treatment should be all about trigger management. I also showed a picture of hives that I got recently which doctor said was also eczema (yes, I am sure eczema disappears after 2 hours). To top it off the nurse took 300kr from me before I even remembered that I have frikort. Of course, I got my money back but it gives you an idea of their attitude towards patients. So, in conclusion: gaslighting, incompetence, lack of interest and only short-term solution because they wouldn’t even help me with identifying triggers. I honestly had a strong felling of distaste after leaving the clinic and just embarrassment on behalf of the doctor.
