We visited the house for a week as a couple, looking for some peace and quiet from everyday life. It was perfect for that. The house is located on a small, almost unused road. This, combined with the rural setting, makes for a peaceful stay. The house has two bedrooms with two beds each (one double, one twin), as well as two single beds that can easily be pushed together on a gallery that opens onto the kitchen/living room. In the main room (kitchen/living room), a table with six chairs provided space, along with an armchair and a bench for more comfortable seating. Adjacent to the terrace is the east-facing terrace, perfect for breakfast in the sunshine. Mariannelund is about 4 km away and offers a supermarket and a bakery where you can buy groceries. There are so few cars on the road into town that we easily managed the walk, and the bus lines from the church in Mariannelund provide good connections to Nässjö and Vimmerby. The area itself offers many beautiful hiking areas and wonderful peace and quiet. Last but not least, we'd like to mention the very nice landlord, who provided us with extra bed linen and towels at short notice when we had a spontaneous visit and offered to drive us into town if we needed them.
