We planned to freeze the embryo but after the egg retrieval they acted like they did not know anything and wanted to book an appointment to store the embryo. For your own good I recommend that you first do an investigation before going through IVF. The last choice should be IVF because it is an intervention. If you choose IVF, freeze the embryo after the egg retrieval. The clinic waits a few days and only freezes the embryos that are alive and good. Then you know for sure that the embryos are good. Then you can choose to put the embryos in a month later. The difference is that you know that it is a good embryo and not take risks by putting in an embryo that may not be good. I wish someone had told me about this before I started my journey about 6 years ago. I have lost time, money and damaged my body.
