Beware of this rental location! I rented a car from Europcar Trelleborg. At pickup, there was no Europcar employee present, only a third party who handed over the car – without a handover protocol or joint vehicle inspection. The rental agreement was only sent later by email for signature. Upon returning the vehicle (outside of business hours), I parked it properly and took photos of its condition, which showed no damage. Shortly afterward, I was informed that a new scratch had been discovered on the hood. Later, additional scratches were claimed that had never been mentioned before – for example, tiny scratches on the inside of the door frame. The photos sent do show scratches, but it's impossible to tell if they even came from the rented vehicle, as neither license plates nor other identifying marks are visible. In my opinion, transparency, communication, and documentation are completely inadequate.
