It would have been preferable if they adopted a more discreet and relaxed approach, allowing guests to enjoy their evenings without feeling constantly monitored. Obtaining a drink at the bar required a commendable amount of patience. With the bar bustling and a throng of people vying for the attention of the waitstaff, it often felt like a task in itself to order a drink. It would greatly benefit the pub to invest in additional bartenders or establish a more efficient system to improve wait times and create a more enjoyable experience for guests. In spite of these minor inconveniences, the pub managed to redeem itself through the efforts of the DJ and the friendly, albeit slightly inebriated, locals. The DJ skillfully curated an eclectic mix of tunes that had everyone enthusiastically dancing the night away. Their ability to set the right ambience and keep the energy levels high was commendable. Moreover, the vibrant presence of the friendly locals added a sense of warmth and inclusivity, making us feel like we were part of a larger community. While the security and crowded bar detracted from our overall experience, the DJ and welcoming locals successfully salvaged the night, leaving us with a positive impression. If you're looking for an okay place to hang out with friends, Cromwell can offer an enjoyable time with the help of the DJ and the camaraderie of the locals.
