Nice staff, but incredibly bad at taking responsibility and the case was handled very carelessly. (Not completely fixed either, but redirected to another workshop because they don't want to deal with contact with the insurance company). I was hit from behind at about 20–30 km/h in May, which led to my towbar being bent. I also received an error message on the display with the text "Position lights malfunction" at the same time as a symbol for both headlights was shown. I called Karlskoga Bilskadecenter, explained what had happened and what errors had occurred after the crash. They confirmed that they had received my description and I was given an appointment for action at the end of July. This appointment was then rescheduled for October because they couldn't get hold of parts, which is completely understandable. I handed in my car in September, as the previous date didn't work for me and I also needed to inspect the car. I called Bilskadecenter again and explained that the car was to be inspected. I asked to receive a document via SMS about what they were going to fix, so that I could inform the inspector and avoid being rejected for defects that would still have to be fixed. I then received an SMS that said: "Your car is booked for repair of the damage to the rear of the towbar, etc.". I interpreted this as them just expressing themselves a little unclearly. The inspector did not see it as a problem either and did not note the defect because it would have to be fixed. However, at the inspection I was given a remark for two other things: incorrect light adjustment and a worn out wishbone. After the inspection I went straight to Bilskadecenter, where they agreed to also fix these two points for 1910 SEK, which I agreed to. When I got the car back, they had replaced the towbar and bumper, adjusted the light adjustment and replaced the wishbone. However, the steering wheel was tilted when I was driving straight ahead, and I had received additional error messages for the fog lights. Sometimes the car also warned of "Multiple exterior lights malfunction". So they hadn't even checked that the car was working properly before it was returned to me as a customer. I called them again, explained the new problems and pointed out that they still hadn't fixed the original error message "Position light malfunction". Then a long discussion started about how this error - which according to the car's own diagnostics and the display indicates a frontal fault - could not possibly have been caused by a rear-end collision. Can someone please explain to me how you can be so sure that nothing can break when an object is hit at 20-30 km/h. Anything can happen. Despite me mentioning this error message several times, both in the initial fault description and in phone calls, they hadn't even passed it on to the insurance company. They had only included the visible, physical damage in their estimate, not the electronic error messages. I also urged them to contact the insurance company to make an additional estimate, just as the insurance company itself had instructed me. However, they refused to do this, on the grounds that "it would never pass inspection". I cannot interpret it in any other way than that they were implying that I was lying and that the fault did not occur at all in the collision. And now they are waving the whole process away with a "perhaps we have communicated a little poorly", without taking any responsibility whatsoever for solving the problem. Instead they are sending me on to another workshop. This is a place I will definitely never return to. Absolutely incredibly poorly managed.
