First of all, the overall quality of the food, dessert, service, and atmosphere was easily 5 out of 5 — no doubt about it. The meat was truly tasty and high quality, the dessert was superb, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our waiter was friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout the evening. The only issue we experienced was that two of the meat plates were served cold — one sirloin and one Wagyu. This surprised us, especially since the rest of the dishes were served at the proper temperature. We had been asked whether we wanted all dishes served at the same time, which we agreed to. It seemed that some plates may have been ready earlier than others, but we still believe the kitchen should have checked the temperature before serving. Serving cold meat — particularly Wagyu — is simply not acceptable at this level. We informed the waiter immediately. He apologized and quickly replaced the dishes, and the meat came back warm and exactly as it should have been from the start. The dessert, while small, was absolutely delicious — truly outstanding. Another minor issue was that two of the three lights at our table were not working, which made it a bit dark. Again, the waiter handled it quickly and provided another table light, but small details like this ideally shouldn’t happen in a restaurant of this standard. Because of the cold dishes and the lighting issue, we unfortunately cannot give the overall experience a full 5 stars, even though much of the evening was excellent. We also felt that it would have been a nice gesture if the restaurant had offered a small compensation — such as drinks or desserts — as an acknowledgment of the inconvenience. We didn’t ask for anything, as we believe such gestures should come proactively from the restaurant. That said, after some time, we got in touch with someone from the restaurant who was very apologetic, understanding, and genuinely attentive to our concerns. This was highly appreciated. They handled the situation professionally and followed up by offering us a fair compensation, which we are very satisfied with. This gesture helped restore our overall impression and showed that they truly care about their guests’ experience. In summary, we expected great meat, a wonderful dessert, and an overall high-quality dining experience — and in many ways, that’s exactly what we received. The few issues simply put a small dent in what would otherwise have been a perfect evening. Thankfully, the follow-up and resolution afterward left us with a positive final impression.
