Väldigt besviken i dag över besöket. Hade bokat tid för att de skulle se både mina utslag jag haft på båda ögonlocken samt kolla i öronen då jag misstänker vax. Tydligen hade de missat att skriva upp öronen. Fick en ung kvinnlig läkare …
Very disappointed today with the visit. Had booked an appointment so that they would look at both my rashes I had on both eyelids and check my ears as I suspect wax. Apparently they had missed writing down the ears. Got a young female doctor who did not give any assurance, nor a friendly attitude. Since they missed writing down the ears, I really had to beg and ask several times that she could at least look in the ear that I have the most problems with. She claimed that I should book a new appointment but said I asked for it when I booked. Finally she gave in and looked in the one ear that I have the most problems with. Said you can at least look in that. Finally she did. She said that she saw a change in the skin and that there was something red that stood out. She would go and consult a colleague but that I should not worry. She came back after a while and said that she would send a referral to ear, nose and throat but that I shouldn't worry. Yes, the way she said it made me feel worried instead. Then she said, "Well, you can look in the other ear too." There was wax there. Then she said again, "I'll send a referral to ear, nose and throat, now I have other patients to take care of." So now I'm sitting here both sad and worried. If she had said that it looked swollen and irritated, I wouldn't have felt worried that there were changes and that's how she expressed herself. I work in healthcare myself and know how important treatment is. Mia.
