Liam fotograferade vårt bröllop på Stockholms Stadshus i oktober förra året, och livet var så hektiskt veckorna efter att jag helt glömde bort att lämna en recension. Men idag, nästan ett år senare, tittar jag på bilderna (igen!) och …
Liam photographed our wedding at Stockholm Stadshuset in October last year, and life was so hectic in the weeks after that I completely forgot to leave a review. But today, almost a year later, I am looking at the photos (again!), and marvelling at how perfectly he captured the day and the amazing record he has given us. It was a gloomy October Saturday, but whether in the colour or the black and white shots, the light is stunning: by turns vivid, luminous, ethereal, warm. We had a tiny Covid-era wedding of two -- three counting Liam! -- and it was not just easy but fun to spend those hours with Liam. He even doubled as one of our witnesses :) Our families couldn't be there but Liam's photos documented all the twists and turns of the day for them, and so beautifully. He even captured the excitement and emotion of our FaceTime calls to family. Everything about Liam is so thoughtful but unintrusive. I loved his aesthetic when I first viewed his website, and knew instantly that they were the kind of wedding photos I wanted. But nothing prepared me for seeing myself and my husband Johan, at our happiest, framed in Liam's beautiful images. It's like catching a glimpse of yourself in a work of art. We're very glad that our only wedding "guest" was Liam :)
