Very cute place just next by the river, you can choose to sit either inside or outside. The waffles were delicious and the ice cream as well 🤤 We brought along a cat and it was welcome there, the owner also had several cute cats that were moderately cuddly but very purrdy🤗🐈 Close by the road so it is great for a pause when passing by. Would come back if open next time I pass by!

Mysigt och lokalt cafe med trevlig personal. Lyckades besöka cafet sista dagen i år då det är öppet. Är lite mitt i ingenstans men heöt ok vägar för att ta sig dit.
Nice national park with several cabins to spend the night in. The hike to the waterfall from Skadje is easy, a little bit uphill in the beginning but thereafter you can choose between two paths: one that is easy and one that is more difficult. The more difficult path is prettier. It is approximately 8kms to the first cabin and the bidge that crosses the river. The cabin had plenty of space for sleepovers. There was wood available in a shed next by, but you will need to chop it yourself. Getting there with car is easy but you will need to drive on a gravel road that at times were a bit bumpy to get to the park entrance.
In summer there is not a lot of activity in the area. However you can still hike to the top and get great views of the area. You will most likely not meet any other people around on your wah up and down. A lot of berries if you stroll outside the path into the forest. In summertime there is no cafe or reataurant nor shop available in Storklinten so would advise you to bring your own yummy snacks. There is a grilling place at a viewpoint on the way to the top, with a shed.
En dold pärla, åkte dit för en lunch mitt i veckan. Mer som en buffé, nit så dyrt med tanke på platsen. Var på plats tidigt om du inte vill kämpa med att hitta en plats att sitta på :)
