The library has good access and convenient opening hours for studying throughout the week, but what’s really frustrating is that there isn’t any separate, enclosed area for studying and focusing. There’s a very small so-called “tyst avdelning” (quiet section) with only a few tables and chairs, but in addition to the noise from that floor, you can clearly hear the sounds from the children’s section downstairs. What’s even worse is that the staff working there don’t follow the rules either — whenever they come into the quiet area, they talk and laugh loudly. I’m really angry about this and I feel it’s important to remind them that a library is supposed to be a quiet place where people who can’t study at home can go to focus.
