I participated in the Door Opener 1 in August 2025. I had a really unpleasant experience there. Some things to note, if you are considering joining: 1) Osho Dynamic meditation was our first exercise. Gayan, who was advertised as the "leader" of the course was not present during it. We were guided by 5 staff members. Turns out, they were former students of Baravara and that was their only credential. This made me feel that I did not get what I paid for and we were guided by amateurs who were not qualified to support us. 2) 30 people joined the retreat, which made the room quite cramped and the attention to each of us quite limited. 3) A lot of different people came to try to improve themselves and find some answers. I felt how beautiful and unique they were. When I looked at the staff, I saw people who looked and felt exactly the same, verging on creepy. I didn't want to believe the "cult" accusations around baravara, which is why I came with an open mind. But the vibes of the staff and the experience in the retreat made me feel very uncomfortable, so I had to leave early.
