We were interested in a VW Golf and have been in contact with the seller Björn Nord. We had an acquaintance who went and looked at the car for us before we decided to go there. This after we asked on several occasions (both via email and phone) about the condition of the car and whether there were any known faults. Despite this, nothing was mentioned about the car having rust, which was clearly visible in reality and which the seller was obviously aware of. From a car dealer, you are expected to be aware of the condition of the car, especially when you explicitly ask about any defects in advance, and take time off from work to close a deal. We find it very disappointing and unprofessional that this was not communicated. Unfortunately, it creates a feeling of a lack of transparency. When you as a customer repeatedly ask about the condition of the car to avoid unnecessary trips, you expect honest and complete answers.
