Urö campsite in Hudiksvall, a dream. The approach is via a tarmac road and then a paved gravel road (don't worry, it's all perfectly passable; we were there with our 12m trailer). The highlight is driving right through a golf course where you play to the right and left, or from one side to the other. We stayed there for one night on the way north, but since we enjoyed it so much, we stopped there again on the way back. We actually only wanted to stay one night, but it turned into three 😉❤️ The campsites are on two levels, and if it gets full, there's another spot further up where you can park. Unfortunately, it doesn't have such a great view. To really get a great spot, you should arrive around 3-4 pm, no later. 200 SKK per night including electricity. In the service building, there are 2 🚿 (no time limit) and 2 🚽 All-inclusive. Waste disposal and supplies included. Everything is super clean and well-maintained. There's also an outside area for washing up. At the entrance to the restrooms, there's a small mailbox with envelopes. You put your money there and put it in the safe under the mailbox labeled with the pitch number and license plate number of your motorhome, car, or caravan. You can grill and make a 🔥 there; wood is available for a fee in the small boat rack. Fishing from land or by rowboat is permitted. Wi-Fi is also available for a fee. Dogs are allowed, but please keep them on a leash.
