I visited Kokpunkten Actionbad this weekend and I was honestly quite disappointed. I understand that it is a large facility and can accommodate many guests, but that should not mean allowing an excessive number of bookings. I also learned that there is no fixed exit time, which means people who arrive in the morning can stay all day. Since my slot was at 14:30, it felt like I was sharing the space with the crowd that had been there since 9 AM. It was so overcrowded that the water temperature was not maintained at all. The pools were noticeably cold. The rooftop pool was especially disappointing as it was both dirty and extremely crowded. The chlorine levels in the water also felt very high, and my eyes started burning within 40 minutes. We had to constantly wait for everything, including the jacuzzi and rides, which took away from the overall experience. It felt more suited for kids and teenagers, so I would only recommend this place for that age group. Overall, it was not a great visit and at times it even felt like a safety concern because of the number of people allowed inside.
I had the chance to visit Hermana’s in Västerås this weekend and I was genuinely surprised in the best way possible. I did not expect this level of detail from the moment we walked in. The décor, ambience and overall attention to detail are beautiful and it truly makes you feel like you have stepped into Mexico. The food was nothing like I have had before, in the best possible way. The complimentary nachos with their chunky salsa were outstanding. The salsa alone deserves a special mention, it was absolutely incredible. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would easily recommend anyone to visit. PS: I am a vegetarian who does not eat eggs, and they had fantastic options that suited my diet perfectly.
We went to Waipo on February 9th to celebrate my husband’s birthday and truly enjoyed the evening. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm, and the service was attentive throughout. The only small note would be the portion size of one tapa that comes in shells, which could be slightly more generous. Apart from that, everything was wonderful. The cocktails were enjoyable too.
My husband and I recently visited INDIA’s and really enjoyed the food. The staff was very kind and took the time to walk us through the vegetarian menu, even helping us customise a dish to our preferences (paneer tikka masala). The highlight of our experience was the cocktails. I ordered a Bloody Mary with achaar, and it completely blew me away, such a unique and memorable twist! The only downside for us was the price-to-portion ratio of the appetisers, which felt a bit on the higher side. We ordered avocado pani-puri, truffle paneer pav and artichoke samosas. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely a place we’d recommend.
We visited Lumbini today and it completely surprised us. The place is beautifully maintained, and the décor instantly transports you into Tibetan aesthetics and culture. The wait staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, guiding us on what to order (and what to avoid) based on our food preferences. The food could not have been better, the momo sizzler and veg kofta were outstanding. An absolute must-visit!
