The New Greenhouse was an excellent place for me to stay in my first semester at Lund University. It has an active community life that was easy to join in on. I have fond memories of potluck dinners with students preparing and sharing their favorite home dishes with each other. There were also plenty of movie nights. The building manager, Ella, is very kind and easy to reach; I felt comfortable asking for help and even just advice on where to get a haircut. While it is a bit out of the way compared to other corridor housings in Lund, there are bus stops only a 10 and 20 minute walk away, and well maintained bike paths which can get you to the city center in just 20 minutes. The lack of light pollution is also really nice for star gazing. The nearest grocery store is the Linero Torg ICA, and it is just 20 minutes by foot and far less by bike.
