There is something faintly heroic about a company that sets out to save the world, one cocoa bean at a time. The intentions here are impeccable: ethics, sustainability, and care for farmers are clearly front and centre. Unfortunately, heroism does not automatically result in chocolate one wishes to finish. I spent roughly 500 SEK on an assortment that promised craftsmanship and delight. What I received instead was an exercise in sensory overload. The flavours are not merely bold; they are extreme, overwhelming to the point where gagging briefly feels like a reasonable response. Each bite arrives with the subtlety of a brass band falling down a staircase, dragging several spice racks with it. One gets the impression that the chocolatiers have either mislaid their taste buds or tragically confused tablespoons with decilitre measures. Experimentation is admirable, but restraint is not optional. Good intentions, like chocolate, require proper tempering.
Whether you ride a chopper, bobber, sportbike or something in between – Moon Shine Runners is the place you want to stop by. The owner is incredibly nice, knowledgeable and genuinely committed. He cares about both bikes and riders, and it shows right away. The work is of high quality – whether it's a major rebuild, service or fine-tuning the details. You know your bike is in good hands here. But it's not just a workshop. It's a place to hang out. The place is cozy and welcoming, the coffee is always on, and it's totally okay to just roll in and talk shit for a while. No prestige, just a love of bikes. In short: An obvious stop on every two-wheeler's map.

Tog med mig diverse husdjur till det här stället. För det mesta fick jag tillbaka dem i bättre skick, men det beror verkligen på anledningen till att jag tog med dem från början. Personalen gör jobbet professionellt och med en positiv attityd.
Beautiful venue from the end of the 19th century, complete with a slight lack of leg space for the average Swede. Acoustics and audio systems are satisfactory and the setup makes it possible for everyone in the audience to see the whole stage. The restaurant and bar offers decent meals and beverages served in a picturesque and cozy environment. Location is accessible in the central parts of Ystad and parking is easily found in the vicinity.
Brought various pets to this place. Most of the times I got them back in a better shape, but it really depends on the reason for bringing them in the first place. Staff gets the job done professionally and with a can-do attitude.
Trevlig och lugn liten "park" med många olika sorters träd och växter. Ett bra ställe för kortare promenader eller bara komma lite närmare naturen. Det finns en liten sjö med fågelliv, inte för att bada. Du kan också hitta ett altare av nappar, till vilket småbarn och barn kommer att offra sina älskade nappar när tiden är inne.
En historisk plats, där de första tecknen på bosättning i dagens Sverige har hittats. Idag kan man egentligen inte se några tecken på detta, men här har en informationsskylt placerats för att avslöja vilka fynd som har gjorts av arkeologer.
Mycket vackert område med fina vandringsleder genom blandade naturtyper. Erbjuder stora möjligheter att upptäcka alla typer av vilda djur, allt från rådjur till ormar och harar. Lederna är en del av den berömda Skåneleden och därmed väl markerade genomgående.
Storslagen natur med många stigar för vandring och promenader. Idealisk för svampjakt och bärjakt. Bokträden kommer att ge dig den magiska känslan, särskilt under senvåren och sommaren. Ett måste för alla naturälskare som besöker det allmänna området.
Glassen i den här glassen är bara fenomenal. Strutarna är handgjorda och själva glassen håller en yttersta grad av läckerhet. Förmodligen det bästa stoppet längs den södra rutten och möjligen den bästa glassen på den skandinaviska halvön.
Riktigt gulligt litet hus mitt på en stig på Skåneleden. Huset verkar vara tillgängligt för uthyrning. Dess öppettider är något begränsade, men eftersom det drivs och sköts av volontärer måste det anses vara tillräckligt bra.
Very beautiful area with nice hiking trails through mixed types of nature. Offers great possibilities of spotting all kinds of wild animals ranging from deers to snakes and hares. The trails are part of the famous Skåneleden and thus well marked throughout.
Really cute little house in the middle of a trail on the Skåneleden. The house of apparently available for rent. It’s opening hours are somewhat limited, but since it’s run by and cared for by volunteers it has to be deemed good enough.
Magnificent nature with many trails for hiking and walking. Ideal for mushroom hunting and berry chasing. The beech trees will give you that magical feeling, especially during late spring and summer. A must for all nature lovers visiting the general area.
The ice cream in this ice cream joint is just phenomenal. The cones are hand made and the ice cream itself holds an utmost degree of deliciousness. Probably the best stop along the southern route and possibly the best ice cream in the Scandinavian peninsula.
