Who also enjoy every moment talking to us visitors and who do their best for us who are trying ecotourism for the first time. Back-to-Basic is something that everyone should try. The desire of Yvonne and Peter, to make the stay as good as possible for us in combination with choosing to be there at both check-in and check-out, to listen and take in feedback. What dedication. The site is located on a cape in the middle of the forest. 700m from the nearest place to park the car. Everything is there, fireplace, pantry, toilet, roof over your head in case of rain, table and chairs. And tents of different kinds. And all at one with nature. You are met by a completely comfortable place where everything that the city does not offer is there. The calm and the feeling of just being, without a lot of musts. We saw one night as a challenge when we arrived. One night was too short a time, we realized when we were about to leave. We will be back. We have to go back. We chose to only rent the tree tents. Of course, breakfast is included. But it is in the pantry and there is no dining room to go down to and breakfast does not cook itself. What a wonderful feeling to light the fire pit by hand with only some paper, bark and fire steel. No lighter, no matches or lighter fluid. Being able to take the time to light a fire in this way is a privilege for few. The boy and I managed it, albeit after many and persistent attempts. This is clearly a five-star facility! This experience is highly recommended.
