A very nice and cozy restaurant located right next to the ski slopes. The food was good and the prices were reasonable considering it’s a ski resort. Not cheap, but also not overpriced. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant, with a beautiful wooden fireplace that really adds to the experience. The large windows give a great view of the slopes, so you can sit inside and watch people ski. There is also outdoor seating if the weather allows. It did take a bit of time for the food to be prepared, but the restaurant was quite crowded, so that was understandable. Just something to keep in mind if you are very hungry or in a hurry. One tip: if you order a burger and prefer it well done, make sure to tell the staff. Mine was a bit red inside, which some people may like, but it’s good to be clear about your preference. The main downside for me was the opening hours. The restaurant closed at the same time the skiing ended, around 4 PM. It would be great if it stayed open at least one hour longer, so people could relax, eat, and unwind after skiing. Overall, a pleasant place with good food, a nice view, and a cozy interior. I enjoyed it and would happily return.
This was my first skiing experience, and overall it was a very good one. The resort is about one hour from Gothenburg, which makes it a reasonable and easy day trip. As a first-time skier, I really enjoyed it, although I understand that skiing is not for everyone. One thing I appreciated a lot was how well the staff handled a technical issue we had with our ticket booking and dates. The problem was solved professionally and calmly, and I want to thank the resort for that. The slopes are well organized, with around six different runs ranging from easy to more difficult. There are no strict limitations on where you can ski, which gives a nice sense of freedom. For beginners like me, it was reassuring that staff were present near the slopes to help keep things under control. Some additional crowd control at the bottom of the slopes could still make it feel even safer for beginners. The atmosphere was friendly and safe. When I fell at one point, other visitors immediately helped me, brought my skis, and checked if I was okay. That kind of environment really matters. Another big plus is the availability of warm cabins that anyone can use for free. You can sit down, change clothes, rest, or warm up food you bring with you. There are also open grills where people can barbecue without extra cost. Security felt good as well, and I felt comfortable leaving my equipment while skiing. There is also a restaurant located directly at the resort, which is very convenient during a ski day. The food was good, prices were reasonable for a ski facility, and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a nice view over the slopes. It’s a great place to warm up and take a break between runs. One thing that was missing for me was a bit of music or atmosphere around the slopes and common areas. Some background music or even a small DJ setup would really enhance the vibe and make the experience feel more lively, especially after skiing. One small downside is the paid parking. Even though it was not expensive, it feels unnecessary when you already pay a fairly high entrance fee. It would be nicer if parking was included in the ticket price. Weather conditions obviously matter a lot and are outside the resort’s control, but overall the experience was very positive. I would recommend this place, especially for beginners and for a relaxed day trip.
