Warning! Do NOT drive up here! I have tried to drive up to the Malmö Transport Authority three times and experienced the same unclear situation all three times. The teachers do not objectively assess your driving, but assess your personal ability to "please them." It seems to be more about personal chemistry and your knowledge of the area you are driving in than your overall ability to drive a car. Do you recognize me in what the rest of you are saying - small mistakes are magnified, and cannot be justified or explained? For example, one of the teachers claims that he had to intervene due to a "life-threatening situation" when I actually have the right of way at an intersection. When I questioned his assessment, he could not explain further. Then when I asked "is there anything else wrong", he could not give an answer. I asked to speak to someone responsible to be able to get a clearer answer and also know what I need to do differently next time but was never called (something that was promised by the reception). The treatment does not inspire a particularly professional feeling, but the Swedish Transport Administration in Malmö is perceived as extremely money hungry. Having to pay 1800 SEK / attempt without the chance to appeal is completely absurd. Why aren't there cameras in the cars, for example, to be able to make a fair assessment? Why don't the teachers give clearer answers so that I know what to do differently? At the same time, I understand - these are not trained educators with an understanding of learning styles or different conditions. Sad!
